Performance Projects

We develop performance projects in a range of contexts, where we see an opportunity to create work that interests and entertains, particularly for audiences who may not usually see dance in traditional performance settings.

We aim to produce at least one professional performance project per year, led by an artistic concept Photography James Cumpstydeveloped by our Artistic Director, Anne-Marie Smalldon. We aim to produce work that is locally relevant to our home, the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames and the Greater London area.

Projects that we have developed exclusively have been supported by Arts Council England, alongside a selection of other funding bodies and partners providing other financial and in-kind support. The London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames Civic Pride Fund has co-supported various previous projects.

We accept commissions from creative, commercial, educational and charitable organisations who
require a specific performance work for an event, space or project. These have included High Speed One for St Pancras International, Sky Arts, Big Dance and Imperial College London for previous commissions.

Information on a selection of previous performance projects is available in this section, with photo and video galleries in the respective website sections.

For more information on any projects not featured here or to discuss a new commission, please contact us. We’d be delighted to hear from you.
