Olympic Legacy Project for Young People

Our dance artists will be working with 150 young people aged 14-25 years across 12 schools in East and West London, between July 2013 – March 2014.

This will culminate in a large-scale public performance that will include leading UK urban, kung fu and contemporary dance artists. The main aim is to encourage young people to continue to engage in regular activity after the project ends as a lasting legacy for London 2012.

This initiative has been funded by Sportivate part of Sport England’s legacy campaign that aims to get 300,000 young people involved in sporting activities over the next four years.
